She sounds like a wonderful woman with a loving family.
I believe she would make a great VP, and potential 1'st female President. I'm NOT endorsing her at all.
I believe, as I always have that politicians MUST keep Religion OUT of government. The United States was founded on the principle of Freedom of Religion and in doing so our founding fathers kept religion out of government.
I'm afraid that Mrs. Palin would NOT keep HER religion out of our government. She had in the past made reference to the war in Iraq saying "the United States sent troops to fight in the Iraq war on a "task that is from God." "
This is the same ideology that the terrorists use for their reasoning to attack others who do not believe in their ways.
We have so many different religious beliefs in this country and it is WRONG to force one's religious beliefs into the lives of everyone else. Our leaders to not need to be preaching from office by saying that any war we are in is "a task that is from God."
I am an ordained non-denominational minister and I believe and preach that religion is to be preached in either a church, synagog, chapel or anywhere else other than in the laws of government.
Also as a non-denominational minister I do not put down another persons beliefs because they may be different than mine. I embrace their faith with an open mind and heart knowing that at least they have faith in a higher power how ever they call and name that higher power.
May God Bless America, land of the FREE and home of the BRAVE. May none of our citizens be forced to be governed by one religious ideals and may none be descriminated against because of what a particular religion says of their lifestyle.
